Après une randonnée rendue boueuse par une averse tropicale dans le Parc National de Lamington,  nous rentrons tout crottés, ne rêvant que d’une bonne douche pour nous remettre des glissades dans la gadoue et autres franchissements d’obstacles imprévus. J’enlève ma chaussette et horreur !

…ou meurtre commis en bas de chez Ber & Diane. Et oui, Bertrand apprend qu’un meurtre a été commis en bas de chez lui vers 12H30 : un homme a été retrouvé assassiné par balles et une femme à moitié nue et grièvement blessée. Il appelle à la maison pour nous prévenir mais personne ne décroche (normal, nous à 10H
maxi on est dehors hein!). Bon, il faut tout de même savoir où habitent Ber & Diane : Kangaroo Point, c’est un peu le Vésinet par rapport à Paris, en beaucoup plus près du centre de la ville (10km versus en face). Il se passe rarement de choses aussi tragiques donc forcément ça jette un froid !

Man dead, woman critical in Qld shooting (source AAP)

A man is dead and a woman, found semi-naked in front of a house, is in a critical condition after a shooting in
Brisbane. The body of a man, aged in his 50s, was found by police inside a Kangaroo Point unit about 12.30pm (AEST) on Wednesday. He had been shot in the head. Detective Superintendent Tony Cross said police were called after a passer-by saw a wounded woman at the front of the building. The woman, aged in her 30s, was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital where she was undergoing surgery for head injuries.
Supt Cross said police were still investigating the relationship of the victims.
He said it was still unclear why the shooting happened.
“A firearm was located near the body. At this stage we have no concerns as to any other person being involved,” Supt Cross said.
A witness, Cory Ward, said the woman was half-naked when she was being treated by paramedics.
“She was lying on the stairs and couldn’t move,” he said.
“She had grazes all over her legs. From what I could see she was just wearing a T-shirt.”
